Sheila Mello is a widely known, well-respected expert in the field of product development and is the managing partner of Product Development Consulting, Inc. (PDC). 

 

Sheila has done extensive research into processes for defining customer requirements and is an expert in helping companies implement and institutionalise market-driven product definition programmes. Sheila bases her work on the following three principles, the identification of "inch-wide, mile-deep opportunities”, the building of consensus and the implementation of the most effective solution.

 

Sheila is also the author of the best selling book Customer-Centric Product Definition: The Key to Great Product Development and co-author of the recently published book Value Innovation Portfolio Management: Achieving Double-Digit Growth Through Customer Value.

 

Her company PDC focuses exclusively on product development, helping clients to optimise the process of developing products and services.
